The effect of Intermittent fasting on the growth and ghrelin hormone in rats feeding on a standard diet

Aim: In this study, the effect of intermittent fasting on growth hormone (GH) and ghrelin was examined in rats that fed a standard diet without any application may cause values to decrease or increase order see net fasting. Materials Methods: 12 Wistar albino male were divided into 1st group as Control (standard 2.8% crude fat. 23.1% protein. 5% fiber. 7.1% ash 12.8% moisture) 2nd together with (with 24-hour break from non-consecutive for 2 days week all food restricted except water). Results: As result analysis, it found tended compared control group, while value difference not statistically significant, level be lower than group. Conclusion: result, tends hormone, have decreasing level, concluded can considered among methods used treat obesity prevent its occurrence.
